The mining pool server seems to be offline quite frequently. It would be a good idea to include in the app something that checks a location for data on the pool server status (so when you try to start is doesn't just sit there trying to connect forever and do nothing) and it would also be good to include the same status of the mining pool server on the pool web page: http://www.groupfabric.com/pool/

An explanation of what is going on would be good too. Are they periods of shifting from mining one currency to another or what?!
