Should add total of micro bit coins so we know how much we mined so far seems I ran this for over 240 hours and only ended up with 20cents is tier a better way to mine bitcoins

It would be great to have a non-Metro app as well (to run on older Windows versions that do support .NET 4.x for example). It would be a stand-alone install but it may work.

As a mid-term fix - Microsoft has announced Windows 10 which will be a free upgrade for Windows 7 users and will be out shortly.

I know this doesn't help Windows 7 users in the short-term - we've had a long list of work items around boosting user profitability (otherwise mining doesn't make sense!). While this doesn't address Windows 7, it means Bitcoin/Litecoin/Dogecoin will stay excellent for a long time to come.

Maybe Windows 7 can be implemented as a Gadget. Microsoft may no longer support gadget's but the programming is still in place.

FYI we haven't forgotten about this - we're working on several updates to the current version since they will also end up in the Win 7 version.

Found Bitcoin Miner in the windows 8 store.. so easy to use.. can't find anything like it ANYWHERE! Would love to be able to set this up across all of my computers not just win 8!!
