How about creating a module for BOINC instead of a stand alone program?
Instead of writing a completely independent program from scratch, develop a module for BOINC from Berkley University that grew out of SETI@Home?
I already have the BOINC engine installed on more than one computer and am not using it.
All the settings are in the engine and the user chooses which of the modules they want to process.
This uses all CPU's and GPU's - my main computer has a 6 core Intel and 2 graphics cards that can process 8 files at once at high speed.
