Add ability to tweak CPU and GPU usage
Reposting this information due to some confusiuon:
We had to temporarily replace on-device CPU and GPU mining with cloud mining. The change wasn't our choice. Microsoft changed their policy to ban on-device mining in Microsoft Store apps and gave us 15 days to replace it with cloud mining or be de-listed. We're working on a new add-on package to restore on-device mining that will be available through our website.
Here's a link to the Microsoft policy change: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uwp/publish/store-policies-change-history
Here’s some more information we posted on our site: https://www.groupfabric.com/bitcoin-miner/major-changes/
The current cloud miners should still be able to generate around 500-700 Satoshis per day.
Our choices were:
1. If we did nothing, Bitcoin Miner would have stopped working for everyone on October 31st.
2. Temporarily replace on-device mining with cloud mining until an on-device mining add-on can be developed, Bitcoin Miner keeps working at a hash rate close to Power Saving mode.
We're working non-stop to finish the on-device mining add-on. The cloud mining change was the best we could do before the October 31st deadline. While the free cloud mining costs us money to operate, it is the right thing to do for users.

As time goes on, the app developers are removing functionality, and multiple accounts are no longer listed on the pool and owed stoshis are no longer pending. Who is accountable ???

The setup settings are gone, there is no more able to use the GPU at this time! What happen?

If you allow us the ability to buy more H/sec with the bits that we mine, I believe that would make all of us miners very happy, and improve our mining experience. Increased speed means more coin. Thank you!
Although using the app would be nice to configure and tune your hardware> what I think more important is the ability to tune the software to the hardware which is the MOST important process in mining " worksize, intensity, threads ",> how hot or cold, fan curves, core and memory clocks, and voltages are rarely tuned through the mining software and isn't really the purpose or place for gui miners like this one or any miner. I also think this app does a great job of utilizing all types of hardware" which is not easy"!. so what your really looking for if you want to mine with your normal pc "which wont be profitable" is something like AMD crimson blockchain driver or msi afterburner, this will allow you to tune your hardware to comftorable levels of operation without damage.

waiting for you to allow the use of GPU's have several rigs that need to be used that are appreciated more than what is happening with my current miner software

Tweaking is important
Right now Microsoft Store apps are not allowed to access temperature sensors - this is because Microsoft hasn't standardized how to get this information and doing so requires accessing vendor specific driver interfaces which isn't allowed on the Microsoft Store.
What is possible is adding in manual CPU/GPU % controls, time-based controls, or user-idle/active based controls. We do want to implement these types of features but feel that user profitability still needs to take highest priority which is what we're working on right now. Once we improve user profitability, we want to continue to focus on quality improvements like these.
I have two old gamerlaptops, that i enherited from my kids.
The amusing thing is that one running only CPU makes the same yield as the other running GPU full blast and 20% of the CPU. (and vice-versa)
When you are running on a laptop, would it be a point just looking at the temperature and adjusting the performance % to a (user-set) temperature? (trying to run full blast on both CPU and GPU)
This would make it able to run on any old thing.
Otherwise, thanks for makung the most stabile platform able to run on all the different machines i own, including two laptops with Beast e-GPU. (GeForce cards just use the 372.70 driver. Hint)
Adding some throttling should be an easy fix. Power-saving is too slow, but Max performance causes my laptop to shut down after about 30 seconds - probably overheating. Any shades of gray would be nice over just black or white.
خیلی خیلی عالی
We do care and are have this work scheduled, we're just a small engineering and are working on improving user yields first which is a huge amount of work to do.
PLEASE do this

I'm using a dell inspiron 15 3000 and only getting between 6.5 kh/s to 10.5kh/s which is terrible i was using an hp notebook stream 11 before and getting between 16 and 30 kh/s some thing has really damaged this mining app bad
Oh God Really, Hey Guys, stop your daft windows XP and Windows 7 comments. Technology moves forward not backwards
