Clarify unsubmitted shares
Why do shares disappear when windows wants to ask if i want to let a program make changes on my computer? I nearly got to 1 and then the computer reset itself.

With newer versions of the miner it now directly reports earned BTC instead of shares. Give it a try! It's much better.

This happens because unsubmitted shares are really an estimate of the work done.
Each mining pool sets a difficulty which is the minimum "value" mined shares need to be a valid submission. Until the miner finds a hash that satisfies this difficulty mining pools will not give credit for any work done.
